Hemel Hempstead, 12 February 2026 – Butlin’s, the Home of Entertainment, Bognor Regis resort has wrapped up an incredible year of fundraising in aid of the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity in 2025.
As the brand celebrated its 10-year partnership with the children’s charity, the landmark year was topped off by Butlin’s biggest ever fundraising event, Pier to Pier. The nearly-100 strong team from across Butlin’s three resorts and support office walked the 26.4-mile route from Brighton Pier to Bognor Regis Pier. The Butlin’s team raised £26,400 - £1,000 for every mile. Pier to Pier was just one of the many fundraising events carried out by teams at Butlin’s three resorts throughout 2025.
From raffles of guitars signed by the headline artists on Big Weekenders and skydives from 12,000 feet to Family Fun Days and quizzes, the amazing effort and passion will make a real difference to children and their families during the toughest times. Across all three Butlin's resorts in 2025, a staggering £190,000 has been raised for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.
Great Ormond Street Hospital has been Butlin’s official charity partner since 2015, however the historic partnership started decades before. Butlin’s founder, Sir Billy Butlin, donated funds to purchase the UK’s first paediatric CT scanner at the hospital back in 1977.
