So, you’ve booked your holiday. What next? There’s so much to see and do on a Butlin’s break, and we don’t want you to waste a single second of fun. That’s why it’s now easier than ever to plan and book your experience using our handy app. Let’s get organised, prepared and, most importantly, excited!

4 weeks before your break starts, the lead booker will be able to start booking shows and activities for their whole party from 10:30 am via the Butlin's app. If you’ve booked an Early Access VIP pass, the lead booker will be able to book shows and activities 3 days earlier. Shows taking place in Reds on Showtime Tots breaks are also bookable.

To ensure full-on fun for everyone, we've put the following booking guidelines in place:

Daytime entertainment
You can pre-book multiple daytime shows, there’s no limit to how many you can see!

Evening entertainment
You can pre-book a maximum of one evening show, running between 6pm and 9:59pm, for each night of your break.

Last-minute availability
If you’d like to see more than just your pre-booked evening shows, check the app from 10am each day of your break for any last-minute availability.

Activity passes
If you have bought one of our activity passes your activities will be auto-allocated and will show in your wallet on the app. This excludes the All-action pass which needs to be booked once you arrive.

Activity Tokens

It wouldn’t be a trip to Butlin’s without those non-stop action days! That’s why we’re introducing a whole new way to pay for activities, so you can try as many as possible AND save money. Our digital Activity Tokens pack a pocket-friendly punch and give you the flexibility to pick and choose how you spend your holiday. They’re also a great way of keeping track of your budget, meaning no more surprise spends while on resort! So, load up and lock in some family fun.​ Find out more here.

Overlapping activities & shows
You won't be able to pre-book additional shows if they overlap. For example, if you have a show booked for 3pm-4pm, you won't be able to book another show that starts at 3:45pm.

Big Top Circus
We've made it super easy for you to add circus tickets to your break, simply login to My Account and add tickets. Circus show times will be auto allocated if bought before the booking window opens. Your allocated time will appear in the app’s wallet section under ‘My Activities’. If there is availability to move to a different showtime you will be able to do this through the app. Tickets can still be purchased once the booking window opens, but will need to be added through the Butlin's app or on resort, subject to availability. 

Studio 36 and Centre Stage 
Shows are bookable per person. Please note, you’ll be sat on a table of up to five guests (this could be with other guests outside of your party) or in theatre-style seating. A table in either venue is not guaranteed.

Reds
Shows are freeflow.

*Early access to booking slots for shows and activities is only available to guests who have booked an Early Access VIP Pass as part of their break. Early Access VIP passes can still be purchased after the booking window opens; however you will not have early access to book shows and paid for activities. Early access to our venues is only permitted for the shows you have a booking for. If you don’t have a booking, you won’t be able to access the venue until all guests with a booking have entered.

Please note: In Studio 36 and Centre Stage, you’ll be sat on a table of up to five guests (this could be with other guests outside of your party) or in theatre-style seating. A table in either venue is not guaranteed.

We know that flexibility is important to you, which is why we’ve introduced even more freeflow options to our entertainment schedule. Not only are Skyline Pavilion shows, the fairground and Splash Waterworld all freeflow, but you can now enjoy our brand-new ‘Night at Reds’ experience without needing to book!

There’s no need to pre-book our freeflow entertainment – just turn up and have fun! 

• Our ‘Night at Reds’ experience (except on Just for Tots breaks, which is still bookable)
• Shows in the Skyline Pavilion
• The Fairground 
• Splash Waterworld (excluding Skegness, which is bookable through Plan My Day)

If you've purchased a DineAround dining plan, you'll need to book your dining slots in advance for breakfast. You can do this via butlins.com/planmyday. We’ll send you an email once you can book.

• The Beachcomber Inn will be open for Breakfast on all breaks, on busier breaks there will be a minimum of two retail restaurants open (The Beachcomber Inn and Ludos / Papa Johns).
• Time slots are set up in 15-minute blocks, for example: 7pm, 7:15pm, 7:30pm. You'll need to select the time you wish to arrive at the venue.
• Only the lead booker can book dining reservations for those in their party.

Please note, there’s no need to pre-book dining slots for lunch or dinner as part of your DineAround package. You can now take advantage of added flexibility by simply walking up to your preferred restaurant where you’ll have priority access to a table. Just let our friendly hosts know you’ve got a DineAround plan.
