BUTLIN'S REOPENS FOR FULL-ON-FUN

The Ultimate Family Escape

London, 18 May 2021 - Butlin’s, the leader in family entertainment, reopened its doors yesterday inviting families for a much-needed fun-filled escape.

Families were welcomed by Redcoats at Bognor Regis, Skegness and Minehead and with guest safety the top priority, each resort has introduced a brand new state-of-the-art, 860-seater indoor entertainment venue 'Studio 36’ designed for social distancing without compromising on the fun.

Additional safety measures have been put in place for reopening. Extra hand sanitizing stations have been installed and cleaning around resort has increased. For example, all rides will be sanitized after use and once a guest’s accommodation has been cleaned prior to arrival, a sticker goes on the door to show no one else has entered. Drive thru check-in has also been rolled out at all three resorts.

All entertainment venues including the new Studio 36, bars and restaurants will use the B Serve app allowing guests to order food and drink directly to their tables, eliminating queues.

Jon Hendry-Pickup, Managing Director at Butlin’s said: “Our resorts are open and we’re so excited to be welcoming guests back. Everybody wants to get back doing what they love and we want our guests to feel safe and happy when coming to holiday with us. We have implemented new safety measures to help deliver the best break possible.

“This year is our greatest entertainment lineup ever featuring acts we know our guests will love. We’ve lots of new and exclusive shows taking center stage at our new Studio 36 venue so the question is, what break will you be booking for your family?”

For families looking to swap the sofa for front-row seats to brand new amazing live shows, trading endless walks for full on fun in state-of-the-art swimming pools and tucking into mouth-watering food at fun and tasty restaurants, there is still availability over May half-term.

Sam & Mark
CBBC stars and BAFTA award-winners Sam & Mark will be taking to the Butlin’s stage bringing their hilarious brand of entertainment to the resorts with a new live show which promises to be high energy and fun-filled for all the family. Available on May and October half-term breaks in 2021.

Dick and Dom
Celebrating 25 years as a dynamic duo, Butlin’s is delighted to be welcoming back Dick & Dom by popular demand. They’ll bring their unique brand of chaos and comedy in an all-new DJ battle. Available on May and October half-term breaks in 2021.

Cirque du Hilarious
TV’s Clive Webb and Danny Adams will get the whole family screaming with laughter at the antics of international circus acts, clowns, comedians and dancers at this riot of a circus show. The masters of mayhem are guaranteed to keep the family entertained with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments to experience altogether. Available on May and October half-term breaks in 2021.

Peppa Pig
Brand new for 2021, everyone’s favourite pig, Peppa, will be joining each resort in a new and exclusive mini show with her little brother George, guaranteeing family fun and socially distanced selfies, whatever the weather! Available on all family breaks in 2021.

PJ Masks
Returning for 2021, PJ Masks fans are invited to join the three young friends who transform into their dynamic alter egos, Catboy, Owlette and Gekko, when they put their pyjamas on at night and activate their animal amulets. Available on all family breaks in 2021.
