BUTLIN’S LAUNCHES BRAND-NEW COUNTRY BIG WEEKENDER FOR 2026

Hemel Hempstead, 5 January 2026 – Butlin’s Big Weekenders, exclusively for adults, has announced the launch of a brand-new country-themed Weekender for 2026.

Reflecting the rise in country music’s popularity, the Minehead resort will exclusively host the Giants of Country – Bootleg Edition Weekender from 9th October.

Dedicated to the biggest names in modern country music, the Weekender’s lineup features tributes performances celebrating iconic country singers, from Taylor Swift and Shania Twain to Morgan Wallen and Chris Stapleton. When the country tribute acts aren’t on stage, guests can enjoy a hoedown with the Saddle Up line-dancing experience.

Four additional Big Weekenders will also launch for the first time in 2026. Bognor Regis will host two new Weekenders this year. Don’t Tell Mama LGBTQ+ Weekender debuts on 23rd January and Bugged Out is returning to the West Sussex resort after a 10-year hiatus on 6th March, for three nights of the best electronic music from world-class DJs.

Minehead is hosting another new Big Weekender later this week on 9th January, the My Generation Weekender, created for Mod fans. Meanwhile guests in Skegness will be transported back to the ‘neo soul’ era of the early 90s at the Soul Power Weekender from 16th January.

Alongside the new breaks, 2026 will see new chart-topping headliners take to the stage on Decade Big Weekenders, starting from just £62pp*.
The Wanted 2.0 and Aston Merrygold will be bringing all the classic noughties hits to selected Back To The 2000s Weekenders. The JLS star is also headlining selected Replay Weekenders, which brings together the best music and artists from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s.

After stealing the limelight at Christmas with her nostalgic hit “Where Love Lives”, Alison Limerick will be stepping into the spotlight on selected 90s Reloaded Weekenders in 2026.

With up to 25% off selected Big Weekenders**, whether it’s celebrating a big birthday or a university reunion, there are over 70 Weekenders to choose from in 2026. Every Weekender includes three-nights of live music from headline artists and DJs, accommodation for the whole break, plus a packed schedule of daytime and evening activities.
