Hemel Hempstead, 1 September 2026 – Butlin’s, the Home of Entertainment, has unveiled eight brand-new live shows for 2027, led by Britain's Got Talent and DreamWorks' Madagascar musical.
Britain’s Got Talent will headline every school holiday break in 2027 across all three resorts in Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness. Created exclusively for Butlin’s, the nation’s favourite talent show will be brought to life in the 2000-seater Studio 36 venue, with the iconic judges’ desk, Golden Buzzer and four red crosses. Every show will be hosted by mystery celebrity presenters and feature a lineup of familiar faces from the world of Britain’s Got Talent. Plus, guests could find themselves stepping into the spotlight to show off their own talents. Every break from February Half Term will star Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo in DreamWorks’ Madagascar - A Musical Adventure. Based on the hit film, the musical follows the friends as they escape from New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on a wild journey to Madagascar.
On selected Showtime Midweek breaks, families with kids five and under can join children’s TV star Andy Day as he stomps into Studio 36 with Andy’s Dino Rap. The fact-packed show will take little ones on a musical journey through the prehistoric world, but when an unexpected visitor crash-lands on Earth Andy will need everyone’s help to save the planet.
In total, eight brand-new shows will join Butlin’s entertainment lineup across the three resorts in 2027, and all are included in the price. Alongside Britain’s Got Talent on every school holiday break is the concert-style K-Pop Forever! Production. Tapping into the global K-pop phenomenon, the high-energy show will feature hits from Blackpink, BTS, Twice and Katseye.
Following the huge success of Animals and Mythical Beasts, the Animal Guyz are back with a jaw-dropping, exclusive show on all breaks from February Half Term**. Animals Magnified will bring some of the world’s biggest mammals and smallest insects to life on a whole new scale.
Families also have three brand-new West End-quality Butlin's Productions to look forward to in 2027. A Billion Streams will celebrate some of the world’s biggest songs to have smashed through the billion-stream milestone. Guests will also rock out with the Skyline Gang in Band Together from February Half Term, while Playtime Party will have guests joining Billy and Bonnie Bear for an interactive show packed with songs and surprises. Unlike many other UK holiday destinations, there’s so much more included in the price of a Butlin’s break, from accommodation and the Splash Waterworld pools to all live shows and unlimited fairground rides. Plus, there’s plenty of playgrounds and soft play centres to enjoy at no extra cost, including the £2.5 million SKYPARK playgrounds in Minehead and Skegness and the £1.8 million, 3,000 sq ft Skyline Gang Soft Play centre in Bognor Regis.
Mike Godolphin, Entertainment Director at Butlin’s, said: “As the Home of Entertainment, live shows are at the heart of what we do, and our 2027 line-up is one of our most exciting yet. We’re taking things to another level by bringing Britain’s Got Talent to our resorts for the first time, with celebrity presenters and performers that families will recognise from the show. “From Madagascar and K-pop to dinosaurs and some of the biggest songs in the world, we’ve created a line-up with something for every age. Best of all, it’s all part of the Butlin’s experience, so families can enjoy brilliant live entertainment throughout their break at no extra cost.” Families can lock in a school holiday or term-time getaway early and save up to 30% off all action-packed 2027 breaks.
