Matt Rake has been Resort Director at Butlin’s Bognor Regis since January 2024. He previously held the same position at Minehead for over two years.

As Resort Director, Matt is a member of the Butlin's leadership team and oversees the delivery of our strategy on resort. This involves building and maintaining relationships with community leaders and local authorities.

Butlin’s to his core, Matt has been working with us for nearly 30 years. He joined us as a Redcoat in 1996 and was Head of Retail, Entertainment Operations and Leisure prior to his current role.

Passionate about his career at the Home of Entertainment, there are many fond memories for him to choose from when considering his favourite. Nothing beats an opening though, especially when it’s the first Butlin’s PLAYXPERIENCE venue.
