Belinda Schofield was appointed Chief Operations Officer in June 2026. Belinda has a wealth of experience in the retail and travel sectors playing a pivotal part in the Butlin's business for over 15 years, holding a number of leadership positions throughout her career.

Since joining Butlin’s in 2010, Belinda has served as Head of Retail and Central Operations Support Director. In January this year, she also served as Interim Resort Director at Butlin’s resort in Skegness and recently completed the handover with newly appointed Andrew Leivers.

Prior to joining Butlin’s, Belinda was at Iceland Foods, joining the company during a key period of expansion, and at Alpha Airports Group, where she held a number of senior operations roles. Belinda started her career at Barclays Bank.

Belinda cares deeply about Butlin’s’ heritage and feels a responsibility to ensure that future generations get to enjoy what Butlin’s stands for and has to offer. Belinda’s favourite experience at Butlin’s is walking into our iconic Skyline Pavilion – even after working for Butlin’s for over thirteen years, it still gives her goosebumps to enter it alive with music, lights and activity!
