BLUE AT BUTLIN'S BIG WEEKENDERS

Blue are back! With six albums, 15 million record sales and a worldwide fanbase to their name, Blue have been captivating listeners with their signature R&B-pop style for over 20 years - and they’re showing no signs of slowing down.

Fresh off the release of their sixth studio album, Blue are headed to Butlin’s locations across the country for some of our Back To The 2000s Weekenders. All Rise for one of the biggest UK pop bands of the 21st century - this is your chance to see Blue live!

BLUE'S BIGGEST HITS

Made up of members Simon Webbe, Lee Ryan, Duncan James and Antony Costa, Blue exploded onto the scene at the turn of the millennium with the release of their iconic first single, All Rise. Right away, fans were hooked on Blue’s undeniable style and fresh sound.

Their debut album of the same name secured the top spot on the UK Albums Chart, sold 1.3 million copies in the UK alone and was certified 4x platinum. Blue were an immediate success… and they were just getting started!

What followed was a string of chart-topping hits, from the endlessly catchy Too Close, to the unforgettable One Love and, of course, their sensational cover of Kool & The Gang’s Get Down On It.

By 2003, Blue had achieved global recognition, with chart success and growing fanbases in Spain, France, Italy, New Zealand, the US and across Asia - they even received the Favourite Pop Act accolade at the MTV Asia Awards in both 2003 and 2004.

The band’s success had certainly transcended the United Kingdom as they began performing to hundreds of thousands of fans internationally.

Over the next few years, Blue performed to audiences worldwide, even performing to a huge global audience of over 70 million people when they represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011! Their track I Can proved unsurprisingly popular, with Blue taking fifth place in the viewer vote.

In 2021, the band reached an exciting milestone as they celebrated two whole decades of Blue - and what better way to celebrate than with an international tour? Blue headed out on their 20th Anniversary Tour the following year, joined by fellow 00s icons and Butlin’s Big Weekender headliners Atomic Kitten.
In 2022, Blue released their sixth studio album Heart & Soul, showing delighted fans that even after 20 years in the business, Blue have no plans to slow down!
