We know many of you have been waiting for news on the October half-term breaks, taking place on 23rd, 27th and 30th October 2023.

We thank all of you for your continued patience during this time.  We’re happy to confirm that we will be open for this break as planned. We’ve had damage to a small number of our accommodation units, which means some of our accommodation grades will no longer be available.

We know this will cause worry for you and your family. We are working through allocations, moving guests to available units, and we will be in touch with everyone impacted by email, and/or SMS today. We will work in date order, so please bear with us as we prioritise.

What happens next?

We want to provide you with the following options, this includes the option to stay on your break in a different grade of accommodation (subject to availability), a full refund or the option to move to another break of your choice.  We ask that if you would prefer to stay on your break, and move to a different grade of accommodation, that you let us know by clicking on the below link no later than Wednesday 10th October.

If your break has been affected, the lead guest on your booking will receive an SMS and email, outlining your options, which includes staying on the same break and move to a different grade of accommodation, a break move or a full refund. You can find all of your options here https://bit.ly/3EIqgZB

MINEHEAD RESORT UPDATE - 20TH SEPTEMBER 2023

We’d like to thank everyone who is due to come to our Minehead resort in the coming days for your patience and understanding. We’ve spent the last few days assessing the extent of the damage to resort following the exceptional rainfall and flooding across Somerset on Sunday.

We’re happy to confirm that we will open as planned from Friday 22nd September. We’ve had damage to a small number of our accommodation units and though we’ve looked at all alternatives, we’re sorry to confirm that we will have to cancel a small number of bookings for breaks taking place up until 19th October - across both Family and Big Weekenders.

We have not taken this decision lightly and we know how disappointing this is. We have tried everything possible to accommodate all of our guests.

What happens next?

We know this will cause worry for you and your family/friends. We are working through allocations, moving guests to available units, and we will be in touch with everyone impacted by the end of next week. We will work in date order, so please bear with us as we prioritise those breaks impacted this weekend and Monday.

If your break has been affected, the lead guest on your booking will receive an SMS and email, outlining your options, which includes a break move or a full refund. You can find all of your options here https://bit.ly/3EIqgZB

If you do not receive an email or SMS from us, it means your break is going ahead as planned. Our facilities - including Splash, fairground and entertainment venues - are back up and running and our team look forward to welcoming you.

Our phone lines are extremely busy so we do appreciate your patience. If you’ve requested a refund, this will be processed automatically so please don’t call us.

We apologise again for the uncertainty we know this will cause you and your family/friends and we do hope to welcome all of you back to Minehead very soon.

UPDATE FROM OUR MINEHEAD RESORT - 17TH SEPTEMBER 2023

We’ve seen an exceptional amount of rainfall at our Minehead resort today, resulting in a number of our venues (including our pool, buffet restaurants and Centre Stage), as well as accommodation units closing.

The team have been working hard to clear the affected areas, however, we’re unable to give you the full Butlin’s experience you’d expect from us. Therefore we have made the difficult decision to close resort from Monday 18th – Thursday 21st September. We understand how disappointing this will be for you and your family, we haven’t taken this decision lightly and we are very sorry.

If your break is impacted, please visit https://bit.ly/3EIqgZB for all of your options. This includes a full refund or the option to move to another break of your choice, with an extra £25 off. Please note, that if the cost of your chosen break is cheaper, we’ll refund the difference. If it’s more expensive, you’d pay the difference.

We anticipate our phone lines will be very busy so please do bear with us. There’s no rush to fill in the form, so please don’t worry. If you choose a refund option, please do not call. This will be processed automatically.

Please note: our Bognor Regis and Skegness resorts remain open as normal. Thank you for your understanding.
