New Style Chalets at Butlins Minehead
Designed by real families, for real families...
In the 1930s, Sir Billy Butlin’s iconic chalets changed the way the nation holidayed. Since then, while we’ve gone more for apartments and hotels, the traditional Butlin's chalet has always remained close to our heart. So, to honour our past, the great Butlin’s chalet has made a comeback for the 21st century!
Built around lakes and landscaped gardens, we’ve created a new chalet village at our Minehead resort in Somerset.
Our comfortable and cosy two, three and four-bedroom chalets are as loveable as they always were and, just as in Billy’s day, they’ll promise comfort and privacy in a place of colour and happiness.
And we’ve worked with Mumsnet to guarantee families the ultimate place to stay and play together; balconies and verandas, open-plan living areas, L-shaped family sofas, giant board games, village greens, and children’s playgrounds... all designed to help hard-working families ‘unplug’ from day-to-day life.
A land train is available to whisk guests to and from our famous Skyline Pavilion, traditional fairground, Splash Waterworld and sandy seafront (all a short stroll away anyway), to enjoy the best of both worlds; the peace and quiet of the chalet village and the excitement of our family entertainment. And of course, all of this is included in the price.
We’re so proud to have the support and input of Mumsnet and their members, since they awarded Butlin's GOLD for family friendliness in 2013 & 2014. Their involvement has helped ensure that our 21st century chalets deliver everything modern hard-working families are looking for in a UK short break by the sea.
