Latest update - 9am, 1st July 2020
Following last week's announcement from the Government on the continued closure of pools and live entertainment, we have been waiting for further clarification on when and how we can open these facilities for you. Sadly we haven’t had a further update, and with breaks fast-approaching, we have now extended the closure of our resorts to the 23rd July.
If your break has been affected, you will receive an email, SMS or letter from us asking you to fill in a form. If you haven’t heard from us, please see your options and details on next steps below.
For those of you who have breaks booked after the 23rd July, we know this is an unsettling time. We’d like to assure you we continue to have discussions around opening very soon and are exploring different ways to bring you the Butlin’s experience we know you’re looking forward to. We will give you a minimum of 14 days notice if there are any changes to your break and of course you also have the option of our Coronavirus Book with Confidence Guarantee
, which allows you to move your break or request a full refund between 3 and 28 days prior to your arrival date.
We know this has been a frustrating time for you all, and we thank you for your continued patience as we continue to work towards reopening our resorts and giving you all a well-deserved holiday.
Butlin’s Live Music Weekends - update
You may have spotted on our Live Music Weekends website
that we have recently cancelled all Weekenders during September. We’d like to reassure you that this does not affect our Family breaks, nor our plans for reopening our resorts.
The reason for this is that our Live Music Weekends are a place where guests come to dance, party and socialise. Unfortunately, with the current social distancing rules in place we can’t make Weekenders as enjoyable as guests might expect - unlike our Family breaks where entertainment is seated, and social distancing can be maintained.
We will be providing an update as soon as we can on the steps we are taking on Family breaks to make sure that our guests are safe and secure on resort.
If you're booked on a Live Music Weekend beyond September, we ask that you don’t contact us yet - please rest assured that your money is protected and we will be in touch nearer the time should any changes occur.
