There’s nowhere quite like Butlins when it comes to seeing your favourite characters up close and personal. And because we know that little ones don’t have great attention spans, our character experiences and shows are all designed to last around 20 minutes.

  • Elmo Makes Music

    Mark your calendar for a musical event like no other—monsters making music! Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and all their Sesame Street friends are taking to the stage to share their love of music in Sesame Street Live “Elmo Makes Music”.

  • 'I Can Cook' Live shows

    Your little ones will have lots of fun making the yummy recipe of the day! The show is just like the TV show - an interactive experience with songs and plenty of opportunity for your children to get involved.

  • Thomas & Friends ™

    Thomas the Tank Engine is holding a party on the Skyline Pavilion Stage and wants to put up some sparkly decorations. Will he get them in time or will Toby beat him to it?

  • Mike the Knight ™

    Mike will appear at Butlins in his very own mini adventure, called Mike the Knight and the Royal Performance.

Splash Waterworld

During our term time midweek breaks, Splash Waterworld tends to be a bit quieter which is perfect for your little ones to have a splash around in the shallows. And if it’s their first time in the water or they’re a bit nervous, you can come along to our exclusive sessions for parents with under 5s.

    Give your tots their first waterworld experience at a time dedicated to parents and their little ones. 

  • Shallow Play Area

    Our shallow areas are situated away from the big pool and have gentle slides, making them ideal for tots.

Fairground

We know for some little ones this will be their first time on a fairground ride, so we’ve built specially designed indoor rides that are gentle just for them at every resort. They can drive the mini cars, have a spin in the tea-cups or fly high in the aeroplanes.

  • Indoor Tots Rides

    Spin in a teacup, fly high in a plane, or ride the rails on a ladybird. It's all free, so your little ones can ride as many times as they like. 

  • Indoor Soft Play Area

    At Butlins we know that little ones have endless energy, so they will love running around and exploring our indoor soft play areas.
