This 3 night break held at Butlins Skegness has over 100 competing bands promises to deliver a spectacular weekend of competition and entertainment.

This year's test pieces for the Brass Band Sections are as follows:
Championship Section
Sleepless Cities (Paul Lovatt-Cooper) published by Prima Vista
First Section
A Herbridean Suite (Andrew Duncan) published by The Music Company
Second Section
Folk Music (Keith Wardle) published by Kirklees Music
Third Section
Diamonds (Tom Moss) published by Studio Music
Fourth Section
Roman Tryptych (Leigh Baker) published by Kirklees Music
Saturday 23 January
All 5 sections will be playing set test pieces.
Sunday 24 January
The Championship Entertainment Competition will be hosted by Frank Renton from BBC Radio 2
Plus live performances from:
- The World Famous Fairey Band
- Redbridge Brass (2009 Butlins Champions)
- The British Philharmonic Big Band
