Forget Lapland, the world’s most famous celebrity and Redcoat, Father Christmas, was spotted today having a pre-Christmas treat at Butlins Ocean Hotel with spa.
Having enjoyed a massage and disco shower, Santa felt quite at home in the Butlins Snow Cave, one of only two in the country.

As a special Christmas treat Butlins is offering a cracker of a treatment. Over the breaks covering the period from Wednesday 23rd December through to Wednesday 30th December, the existing Heavenly Head, Neck and Shoulder Massage – a luxurious 45 minutes of pampering and tension release costing just £38 – will be enhanced and temporarily renamed as the Mistletoe Massage. Spa goers will relax and enjoy as the treatment room is infused with the smells of Christmas such as cinnamon and spiced apple and they will receive a delicious chocolate Mistletoe Kiss as they leave along with a luxury Christmas cracker to take home.
Guests can join Santa at Butlins for celebrations with a difference this year. As well the usual merriment children can enjoy meeting real life Reindeer at the Winter Farmyard, watch in wonder as Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph entertain in the Santa’s Winter Wonderland, and enjoy a Fireworks Display on Christmas Eve.
Children will be amazed when they receive their very own letter from Santa and once he’s finished relaxing in the snow cave, Santa will be back in his grotto where children can meet him and get a Christmas gift.
