WORLDWIDE HIT SHOW LAZYTOWN COMES EXCLUSIVELY TO BUTLINS FOR 2011
Lazytown’s Sportacus and Stephanie, along with baddie Robbie Rotten, are bringing their live high-octane Energy Show exclusively to Butlins three beachside Resorts, Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness, from February half term and on every family break throughout the year. The holiday parks will be the only places in the UK where children can see, and meet, the stars of the hit TV show and have their photo taken with them as well!
Magnus Sheving, founder and CEO of LazyTown, said; “LazyTown and Butlins are two brands that ensure everything is fun so it seemed a great idea for us to team up to help families enjoy getting fit and healthy together. The Energy Show is great at motivating kids to be active and we’re very excited that Butlins will be its premier venue”
During the interactive show fans will see Sportacus and Stephanie take on the challenge of making LazyTown the most energetic town in the country. Complete with an energy meter to measure the town’s success, the kids and Sportacus try their best to meet their goal whilst resident villain Robbie Rotten does everything in his power to keep the town lazy.
Going to extreme lengths Robbie even pretends to be LazyTown superhero Sportacus after imprisoning him in his lair. With the help of the audience and some Sports Candy (fruits and vegetables), Sportacus sets himself free and saves the day with the big finale seeing LazyTown become super-energetic!
As well as the live show the deal also includes LazyTown sports academies at every Resort as well as a special LazyTown Eat Well kids’ campaign designed to keep young bodies healthy and active
Mike Godolphin, Head of Entertainment at Butlins, said; “We’re delighted that LazyTown is bringing its philosophy of fun fitness to our Resorts next year. We think that our guests will really enjoy all the energetic activities we have planned and parents will appreciate this light-hearted, but effective, approach to kids’ health”
