BBC Children in Need’s Pudsey Bear and Butlins very own mascot Billy Bear, along with thousands of guests holidaying in Somerset for the Party in the Pavilion weekend, will aim to smash the current record set by 3,648 participants at the University at Albany, New York, USA on 17 April 2005 live on national television. Children from local schools and people from Minehead organizations are also being invited to come on Resort for the evening and take part in the challenge.
The broadcast, and record breaking attempt, kicks off a weekend, 14th – 17th November, full of fun and music. Britain’s super successful girl band Sugababes headline on Saturday night when Keisha, Heidi and Amelle perform their biggest hits and showcase brand new songs from their forthcoming album including their new single, ‘Girls’, live on stage.
The live music doesn’t end with the girls’ concert on Saturday night – the party continues on Sunday evening with live performances from X-Factor’s Same Difference, and stars from Britain’s Got Talent, Signature, Strike, Nemesis and Kate & Gin.
