Butlins are also pleased to announce the addition of a Junior Ensemble Section as part of their Youth Brass Band Festival. The competition will be held in the Reds Theatre on Sunday 24 January 2010 and provides an opportunity for beginners of any standard to perform anything upwards of a four part arrangement. This section is for bands own junior and beginners groups and no registration will be undertaken. Players must be under 16 years of age on the day of the contest and ensembles will be limited to a maximum of 20 players but not less than 10 (including percussion & up to 4 adults/tutors.
